Richard Wright - Untitled, 2005
Gouache and enamel on paper

I stumbled across this piece while browsing this year's Turner Prize artists. To be honest, all four of those shortlisted have some good work. Wright's gold wall drawing looks beautiful, while Enrico David has some bold pieces with an illustrative / folk art kinda feel

As ever, the tabloids are already reporting the exhibits on face value

A whale's skull, a heap of dust made up of the remains of a jet engine and a workman's naked backside are among the artworks featuring in a display by this year's shortlisted Turner Prize artists

All sounds good to me
