Nightmare Busters - Nichibutsu - Super Famicom - 1994/95

Developed by those guys at Arcade Zone (who created Legend and Iron Commando), this unreleased game for the SFC/SNES is technically impressive and equals 2D visuals of 32-bit counterparts of the time. The game pays very close homage to Capcom's excellent Midnight Wanderers, though is more unforgiving in its gameplay. It's such a shame that the timing of this game's production coincided with the end of the SFC, though it's recent online availability has revealed its calibre as a definite retro treat
